Adam is from Rochester, NY, and joined the Edelman Public Affairs team in August, after working as an intern on the DC Tech team. Before joining Edelman, he earned his M.S. in public relations at the Newhouse school at Syracuse University, after earning a bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration and sociology from The State University of New York at Geneseo. Adam’s professional background pre-Edelman is based in local and regional politics, where in several positions he worked to identify key issues and opportunities for his teams to activate against, carrying out extensive constituency and demographic research.
On the DC Tech team, his work was based around providing media landscape analyses and identifying pitching opportunities through daily monitoring scans for clients operating in sensitive, potentially volatile industries. Adam was also able to work with multiple brands including Adobe Government Affairs, Adobe Education, Juniper Networks and Cellebrite. On the public affairs team, he’s worked on multiple accounts engaging in government relations work and has supported events on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, as well as humanitarian and philanthropic organizations like the Aurora Forum and Minderoo.
Away from his desk, Adam is an avid landscape, street and portrait photographer. He’s made it his personal goal to photograph every museum in the district by the end of the year. He is also an ardent and often disappointed supporter of Manchester United, and welcomes any opportunities to commiserate.
